1st Marine Division Emblem T-Shirt
The 1st Marine Division has fought in every major American engagement since its founding in 1941.
The red "1" represents the numerical designator of the division.
The vertical "Guadalcanal" is in homage to the first battle the division fought in.
The stars are the Southern Cross, which is of cultural significance to many in the southern hemisphere, as this emblem was designed in 1943 in Australia as the division was refitting after their victory at Guadalcanal.
On the back is a vertical all white American flag.
This shirt from Battle Archives is printed on high end tri-blend shirts from Bella + Canvas. Each shirt is 50% poly, 25% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton, 25% rayon. They look and fit great as well as being super soft.
