The Wilderness First Day Battle Map

The Battle of the Wilderness was fought 5-7 May 1864 between Grant and Lee as apart of Grant's Overland Campaign. The battle took place in north central Virginia. During the engagement, the field caught fire and produced casualties on both sides in an extremely horrible way.
